Content progress development:Design issues and treatment: Ideation and sketches

Based on my target audience - 8 to 12 years old kids, I did my designs in the style of kids paintings. I made them colorful and I add some animation and games in my application. So that kids won't be too boring to use this application.

Design 1
This is a common design. Because my topic is about Chinese traditional style architecture, I add some Chinese elements in this design. I draw the objects in Chinese style.

Design 2
This idea came from one of my precedent studies. I use an earth as the main object in this application. Kids can use the arrows to turn this earth and view each part.

In this design, I want to make it like a chess game because kids sometimes play several chess games. I will make a map for the chess game and a dice. Kids can use the dice to choose the steps they want to go to view each part.

Kids always like to eat sweets. So in this design, my theme is "sweets". I made the letters as candies and cookies. I made the main page like the sweets store and every sence is about this theme.
